Thieves hit ATM

The Fort Frances OPP is looking for assistance in solving a theft that occurred during the summer of 2005, from the ATM located at the Fort Frances Sportsplex.
Sometime between June 4th and June 30th, 2005 a suspect obtained the key and code to the vault box of the ATM machine located in the lobby area of the Fort Frances Sportsplex. The suspect accessed the money located within, and over the 26 day period removed $8560.00 in $20.00 bills. The suspect then returned the key and code to their storage space. The machine was accessed numerous times between these dates. The Sportsplex Manager notified the Fort Frances OPP of the thefts on July 13th.
The Fort Frances OPP has been actively investigating these incidents with the cooperation of Sportsplex staff. Forensic evidence was gathered during the investigation and we are asking for any further information leading to the arrest of the suspect in these thefts.
