RRHS holding free night at the improv
Ken Johnston
Are you looking for a fun night at the improv?
This Friday Rainy River High School’s drama club has just the ticket for you and the best part is it is absolutely free of charge!
The 14 members of the club will be hosting an evening of improvisational entertainment for the community and will then throw in some free refreshments and goodies. They are calling it The Improv Coffee House and are hoping for at least 60 people to attend.
They will conduct a series of routines, some of which will involve volunteers from the audience. Club member Mark Singleton said, “We will do some things like the game, Who’s Line is it or the Party Game.”
Teacher and club advisor Laura Armistead said, “There will be plenty of laughs for everyone and some coffee, tea and dainties too!”
The entertainment begins at 7 p.m. in Room 2 at RRHS. If more than 60 show up they will move it to the gymnasium.
