OFSAA’s good experience for badminton duo

Rainy River High School’s hopes for All Ontario Gold in Badminton were dashed last week when the girls doubles team of Chantel Heyens and Hillary Hansen lost all three of their games.
The pair travelled to Timmins, Ontario for the OFSAA championships. RRHS Athletic Director Guy Arpin said, “The competition was fierce there. However, the girls felt they picked up some tips for next year.” Both girls will be back at RRHS next year and hope to repeat their trip to the All Ontarios.
There were over 600 people at the banquet for the event and both were a bit overwhelmed by it.
