Dear Editor
Unless you should start to think that all my correspondence is concerned with some complaint or other, I thought I should pass on a compliment. I would like to compliment you on the quality of the photography in the Rainy River Record. You definitely have an eye for a good picture. As the saying says, a picture says more than words can ever tell. Or, something like that. A recent picture in the Record inspired these thoughts...

The bellicose bully put on his bib
And filled his face so full
Nervous neighbours thought they’d never be rid
Of his pernicious perverseness and bull.
