Boat sinks on LoW One body found, search for another continues

Police as well as volunteers and Lake of the Woods Search and Rescue have been searching for two missing boaters since Thursday in the Sabaskong Bay area of Lake of the Woods.
The four young men, all from the Morson and Big Grassy area, had left the evening before around 7 p.m. to go fishing.
At approximately 5 a.m. their boat struck a reef and all four ended up in the water.
Two of the men were able to use seat cushions to help them swim to shore and were picked up later that afternoon by a passing boater.
A search for the two missing men commenced immediately.
On Saturday, members of the OPP Marine Unit with the assistance of the OPP helicopter located the body of one of the missing men, Randy Mandamin, 20, floating near an island.
The search was still continuing Monday for Cain Comegan, 16, with the search of the OPP’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
