Doreen Katherine Vennes, 81

Doreen is survived by her loving daughter Christine Simon, son-in-law Jerry and granddaughter Leslie all of Edmonton. Her sister Aileen (Bob) MacKenzie of Calgary and her brother Richard (Joan) Wilson also of Calgary along with many nieces and nephews.
Doreen was predeceased by her husband Mel in 1981. Also by her parents George and Elsie Wilson of Regina.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be a family plot in Regina at a later date. At her request no funeral service will be held.
In memory donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. A very special thank you to the staff and volunteers of unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Hospital, for the care and comfort of her stay.
