Family fun in the park Canada Day

This Saturday family and friends will be encouraged to have Fun in the Park on Canada Day in Rainy River.
Hannam Park will be the hub of activities for the day. The Rainy River Playschool/Early Year’s Centre will be hosting the family entertainers “Jim and I” at the park. They were here last year and were enjoyed by one and all. This activity is free and begins at 11 a.m. Prior to that children’s activities such as games and face painting will take place at the park beginning at 10 a.m. Again this activity is free.
At 11 a.m. the Rainy River Covenant Church will be opening the canteen at the Government Dock selling burgers, hot dogs, smokies, ice cream and other good eats.
Families are encouraged to stay and play in the park all day and at sunset the Rainy River Fire Dept. will put on their annual fireworks show.
