What a weekend!

Dear Editor;
What a weekend! What a hoot!
Fifty pilots from a radius of 500 miles, with over 100 radio-controlled aircraft! A park full of people, young and old, enjoying fellowship and music. Cotton candy, ice cream and hot dogs. Great creativity and foolishness with some cardboard, duct tape and a beautiful river.
All this in our little town thanks to a bunch of volunteers, who just pitched in and pulled together, with doing being its own reward.
And not a terrorist in sight!
You won’t find better fun anywhere on this continent.
Our little town is great and full of great people.
