F.W.I. looks at handbook changes

Forest Womens Institute met at Heritage House Common Room on Sept 5th. Rose Hanson was our hostess.
Ten members were present and we were happy to welcome our guest Ruth Huntly from Lake of the Woods Institute.
Dorothy Wiersema called the meeting to order and Vivian Hartnell read the Mary Stewart Collect. Roll Call was bring a small item for auction. Carol Clifford read the minutes of the last meeting and they were approved by the members. Financial Report was given by Annie Van Rozen. All bills were paid.
Carol Clifford read proposed changes to the hand book to be voted on at the area convention in Dryden. Dorothy & Eleanor Wiersema will attend this convention. Rose donated the gift for the craft table. We discussed catering a supper. This will be finalized at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be held at the Blue Church. Joyce Penner will be hostess and Peggy Livingston will be co hostess. Roll Call will be Bring a Halloween decoration. The Door Prize was won by Joyce Penner and the draw was won by Dorothy Wiersema. The meeting was adjourned by Dorothy Wiersema and Seconded by Joyce Penner. A lively auction of the items brought for roll call followed. A perfect lunch was the end to a fun evening.
