For the second time in as many years, the residents of Pinewood were rocked by gun fire Sunday morning when a teenage boy was allegedly shot by Lorenzo Lolli, 64, of Pinewood.

The teenager was hit in the head by a bullet and is recovering from non-life threatening injuries in the Rainy River Hospital.

Lolli was charged with Attempted Murder and Production of a Controlled Substance. He is being held in custody until a bail hearing which is scheduled for June 7, 2001.

In August of 1999 the small town of Pinewood was stunned when a double murder suicide shocked the community.
