Rainy River
After nine weeks of great incentive the Biggest Loser Contest continues.
On Tuesday night 29 people dropped in to weigh in Rainy River. Rainy River lost 24 lbs. and gained 16.5 lbs making a net loss of 7.5 lbs. Great job Rainy River! The biggest loser this week saw a three way tie between Bonny Caouette, John Swentik and April Trenchard with a 3 lb. loss for each. Great job Bonny, John, and April. Their fruit baskets were obtained at Beaver Mills and Susan’s Corner Store.
The door prize was won by June Bonot. She chose a gift donated by the Rainy River Hospital Auxiliary.
Bergland
On November 8th, 13 out of the 27 registered members at Bergland weighed in last week. The group lost 14.2 lbs., but was overbalanced by a gain of 15.8 lbs. leaving a net gain of 1.6 lbs. Hopefully everyone will do better for the next weigh in!
The Biggest Loser was William Olson with a 3.8 lb. loss. He received a fruit basket from Peterson’s Store in Bergland.
Colleen Fadden won the door prize donated by the Place Rendez-Vous Restaurant in Fort Frances.
A reminder that the group meets weekly at 6:00 p.m. for the weigh-in and we have only four more ‘weigh-ins’ left. All members who wish to be included in the Biggest Loser contest must be present to officially weigh in on the final day, (Dec. 5th and 6th respectively), to have their total loss tabulated for this 12 week program.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 ‘winners’ at that time. Please make plans or rearrange your schedule to be present at the final weigh-in.
There is still a few weeks to work toward reaching the groups’ short term goals for this fall session. It is important to be present to support & encourage one another.
