Tight race for Biggest Loser

The Biggest loser contest has 2 more weight in and excitement is felt all over. The participants are running a tight race to whom will get our 10 prizes that include our Biggest Losers.
In Rainy River people are working hard to stay focus and manage their weight lost, this week Patricia Desrosier is our biggest loser with 4.5 lbs lost she received her fruit basket prepare by Susan’s Store. 21 participants weight in for a weight loss of 29 lbs and a weight gain of 3.5 lbs making a net weight lost of 26.5 lbs great job every one!!!!.
Last week winner of our door price Marie O’Cornnor choose a gift certificate for a massage and reflexology provide by Cheryl Gauthier, this week door prize was won by Sheila McIntosh she has to choose her gift next week.
On November 22, 15 members of the Bergland group met to weigh in. We lost 11 lbs., but gained 9, leaving us a slim margin of 2 lbs. lost. The competition is getting a little keener as the final weigh in looms the week after the Nov.28th & 29th weigh - ins. Our Biggest Loser was Colleen Fadden with a 5 lb. loss. She received the fruit basket donated by Karen at Peterson’s Store. Marilyn Hansen was the winner of the attendance prize, choosing a gift certificate from Brockie’s Wellness Centre.
A reminder that we meet at 6:00 p.m. for the weigh-in and we have only 1 more week left. ALL registered members who wish to be included in the Biggest Losers Contest for cash prizes MUST be present to officially weigh in on the final night, (Dec.5th & 6th respectively), to have their total loss tabulated for this 12 week program. Prizes will be awarded that night to the top 10 ‘winners’ in attendance. Please make sure that you are there for the final weigh in; rearrange your schedule to be present especially if you think you will be eligible to win a prize. We have only 1 week left to work toward reaching our short term goal for this fall session. It is important to be present to support and encourage one another.
