Second RRHS court sports season begins Tues.

Next Tuesday (December 5) is opening day for the Rainy River High School second season court sports: Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball.
There will be a pep-rally to pump up the players for their first home game. There will be music, cheers and competitions. The hockey player and curlers will also be involved. The students would love to see as many parents and community members as possible there to cheer them on during both the pep rally and the games so watch the Rainy River High School sign for the times and see you there.
Upcoming in hockey for the girls is tonight’s game at 6:00 against B.E.S.T. E., Thursday’s game against Thief River Falls (5:30 JV ˆ 7:30 Varsity) in Baudette and then next Tuesday they will be playing International Falls in International Falls.
The boys will be playing Kittson Central tonight in Hallock and on Friday they will play International Falls (5:15 JV ˆ 7:30 Varsity) and Saturday they are up against Eveleth/Gilbert (1:00 JV ˆ 3:00 Varsity) in Baudette. Let’s see how many Rainy River Fans we can get in the stands for these games. Good Luck this week.
The sport committee quilt fund raiser is off to a great start, several squares have already been purchased, thank you for all your support. Small squares can be purchased for $25 and large squares are $50. Squares will be embroidered with the purchasers name and then will be sewn together to make a quilt that will be displayed in the Rainy River High School. Are merchandise flyer should be out shortly don’t forget us when you are looking for stocking stuffers for current students and alumni.
