Search out the facts citizens

Dear Editor:
This letter is in response to the citizens of Rainy River who have voiced their opinion on my Feb. 6, 2007, Letter to the Editor and also to others that may have formed an opinion but for their own reasons have chosen to remain silent.
While I can appreciate and respect your opinions, I question however whether those opinions were formed on any factual information you may have or have been formed on “ hear say “ ?
I am encouraging the citizens of Rainy River to search out the facts in regards to and I quote from Mayor Ewald’s comments “ the legal case in question. “ Go to your local newspapers and ask why you have not been informed on these events as they were unfolding.
To Mayor Ewald, you are well aware of the facts as they stand, as you stated, and I quote “ the legal case in question is already in the courts and I nor anyone else can change or influence the facts as they stand “ end quote.
That being said I will take that as your committment to the tax payers of this community to allow this case to remain just that “ In the Courts of Justice “
