Strawberry social set for May 6th

Twelve members braved the cold and came to our regular February meeting. We opened with our auxiliary prayer, the minutes of the last meeting were read and a brief financial report given, as our treasurer was absent.
In business arising from the minutes - re purchase of equipment for the exercise programme, Dr. Singleton and Nichole Therien will look into finding the best deal for what is needed.
The Strawberry Social will be on May 6th at the Legion Hall and our main raffle will be a quilt, made and donated by Gail Yeryk. It will be displayed in the tuck shop, and tickets will be available soon. Thank you so very much Gail.
Our January Bingo was well attended and a success, however we would welcome more players, and some extra help. If you can, please contact Myrna Armstrong at 852-3243.
New Business.
We will have Valentine parties both at the hospital for the long term residents on April 15 at 1:30 and the station for the seniors coming there. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon with our seniors.
Corrspondence
A letter requesting volunteers for Meals on Wheels for May. This was taken care of and volunteers have their week to do. A letter from Riverside Foundation thanking us for our donation to the CT Scan project. This concluded our meeting. The next meeting is on March 5th at the hospital at 1:30.
