Website helped me find family history

Dear Editor,
Hope you don’t mind but I just wanted to write & say how much I have enjoyed looking at your web site.
Why?
Well apart from it being interesting to see how you are coping with the weather etc.....
Back in the 1920’s my Great Uncle David Sharp left Sunderland for a new life in Canada.
He & his wife Theresa settled in Stratton and brought up their family there.
There was some family contact during the Second World War when David & Theresa’s son Eugene was in the UK but nothing much, a few family photo’s, that kind of thing.
Then in the 1960’ & 70’s Uncle David wanted to come back to the UK for a visit but sadly it never happened and one week his letters just stopped.
My Dad often wondered what happened to his family in Canada but never did anything about it, so after he died I decided to do some “digging”.
Having found you web site & after reading the obituary of Charles Edward Sharp who died in July 2003 I now know a lot more about the family & that they are indeed still living in the same area.
Even though you did not know it, you have been helping me to find out little more about my family, for which I thank you.
–Kind Regards
Anne Watson
