Put your egos asside

Dear Editor,
I was thinking about all the comments made the past few weeks involving the present and past mayor of your fine community and also some of the responses by the local community. I do not have the knowledge or the information to take sides in this argument that has been at the center of this dispute, but would like to offer my opinion. For what it is worth
Small community politics can be very emotional at times…..and can create a lot of sentimental…as well as loyal feelings amongst the local people.
Now I do not pretend to be a resident of your community but do know most of the people involved in this shameful argument.
I would suggest, unless things have changed over the years that all past and present Mayors have been involved for the betterment of the community. The last time I checked, and Rainy River may be different, the job does not pay that well…so put you egos aside and work for the betterment of your fine community which I can tell you all appreciate.
