The Easter bunny sure gets around!

A hippity hop here a hippity hop there... the Easter bunny was sure busy over the weekend!
It was at Hannam Park early Saturday morning hiding over 500 eggs for local kids to find.
That event was a huge success thanks to organizer Kristine Brown and her group of volunteers. About the only bad thing that happened that day was the cold wind from the north, but that did not keep too many kids at home. There was 102 registered before the event and I would say at least 50 more that showed up that day.
Well that was just the warm up for the bunny. Saturday night it had to travel all over the country to hide eggs and other goodies at homes with children.
This year was the first time in all the years I have lived in my house that the bunny came to my place.
My girlfriend Kim’s kids travelled here from Bemidji with their mom for the weekend. Veronica, 7, was worried the Easter bunny would not find her at my place but she was not disappointed Sunday when she awoke to find he had hidden many many many eggs for her and brother Riley, 10.
Then later that day they received a call from my mom telling them that they had better come over because the Easter bunny had been there too!
Man that bunny is busy!
Unfortunately I did not find any eggs with my name on them at my place... guess I will have to be better behaved next year now that the bunny knows where I live!
