The Chili Champ!

Sharon Parsons, left, of Bergland, was named the Bergland 2007 Chili Champ on Sunday at the Fourth Annual Bergland Family Fun Day. There were nine entries in the Chili Cook-off, which was sponsored by the Lake of the Woods Women’s Institute. Ruth Brett of the LoW W.I. presented Parsons with a championship apron which she has on and shows her hot but delicious winning chili!
