Taking the plunge!

Kayle, left, and Ashley Stamler of Rainy River took the annual Polar Plunge in Fort Frances New Year's Day and it was cold!
The mother and son team raised the second highest amount for charity as individuals. They brought in $794, half of which will go to the Rainy River Skate Park project (see next week's paper for details) and half to the Fort Frances Lions Club.
