Elizabeth leaves behind 22 great grandchildren, newest "Ella" to be born in February 2008.
Elizabeth enjoyed many special moments watching all the children play & swim at the beach and putting-on a fish fry for all.
Elizabeth was born in Morson in 1917. Two sisters predeceased her in 1918. While as a young girl she wished they were with her. Elizabeth enjoyed playing her accordion at dances. She took pride as a ten year old learning to sew.
Later she designed her own dresses and matching hats. She moved to Kenora and met John Blight and they were united in marriage on June 29, 1939, later moving to Quebec, having her family.
In 1954 she moved back to Morson and was active and her "always willing to give" spirit flowed. Elizabeth continued to enjoy practicing the accordion and taking pride when included in birthday celebrations at the Rainy River Hospital, playing her accordion for the folks there. Elizabeth's passion and talent for oil painting on sawblades, her smile, her laugh will be forever in our hearts.

In all the world we shall not find
A heart so wonderful, always kind
We hold you close within our hearts
There you will remain, to walk with us
Until we meet again.
