Lorraine L. Almers, 84

Peacefully on Friday January 25, 2008 at the Rainy Crest Home for the Aged, Fort Frances, Ontario, Lorraine L. Almers (Sis) formerly of Morson, Ontario passed away at the age of 84.
Sis was born in Morson, Ont on February 8, 1923 to the late Olaf and Selma Moen.
She was united in marriage to Al Almers on November 3, 1945. Al and Sis operated numerous businesses including Almers Fish Narrow Camp, Sis and Al’s Resort, and Morson Live Bait.
Sis is lovingly remembered by her son Bryan and his wife Linda of Rainy River, Ont,; grandchildren Dean, Kristopher, Allison (Paul), Chad, Mathew (Alexis) and their families; sisters Verna (Alex) Beyak of Rainy River, Irene Nordin of Thunder Bay, Ont and brother Lloyd (Patsy) Moen of Morson, Ont, and many nieces and nephews.
Sis was predeceased by her husband Al (2007); and brothers Clarence and Roy Moen.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service and interment will be held at a later date.
