Spring conference is April 11-12

Sixteen members were out for a regular February meeting, and as always we opened with our auxiliary prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, and no financial statement was available as our treasurer is away. There was very little correspondence, however we were notified the East-West Spring Conference will be on April 11 & 12 at Fort Frances. They will be needing someone to be the Vice-Chairman, as Joan Mudge’s term is up and Betty Anderson will be our New Chairman. Buddy Hannam will look into contacting some members.
Also we have been asked if we would do a Wall Board with the names of our 100 year old long term residents. We will do this and Myrna Armstrong will get some details.
In New business, we will do a Valentine Party at the hospital for the long term residents and activity depot members combined. There will be entertainment.
Our next meeting will be a Luncheon on March 3 at Mom's at Noon. The phoning committee will let you know where. The cost is $10 - leave money at Susan’s Corner store by February 27. Happy Valentines Day!
