Hopping down the bunny trail to Rainy River this Saturday!
The 2nd Annual Rainy River Easter Egg Hunt is being held this Saturday at the Rainy River Recreation Centre from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Kids must preregister at either Next to Nothin or the RR Toy Library by Friday. There is a $2 per child cost, but that includes a hot-dog and a drink.
Recreation Director Meghan Shanks said Monday that the hunt will be held indoors at the facility, unlike last year when it was held outside at Hannam Park. There will be three age groups hunting for eggs. They are 4 and under, 5-8 and 9-13.
There will also be kids games, face painting and crafts for kids of all ages. Kids will find eggs and turn them in for prizes.
The event is being hosted by the Rainy River and District Chamber of Commerce, RR Toy Library and the RR Recreation Board.
