Evelyn Alma (Berg) Armstrong, 87

Evelyn Armstrong of Stratton, ON passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Rainy River Health Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born on July 4, 1920 in Sifton Township to Roy and Amanda Berg.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Dennis of 63 years; children Jack (Lynn), Mike, Karen Higgins (Greg), Dan (Paulette), Alvin (Cheryl), Wayne (Eileen) and Jane Safronyck (Sid); 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Vivian (Garnet); brother-in-law George; sisters-in-law Eileen and Evelyn.
Predeceased by an infant child at birth; her parents; sisters Gladys, Alice and Lucille; brothers Cliff and Elton; sisters-in-law Ethel, Myrtle, and Teresa; brothers-in-law Tom, Art, Menard, Don and Elmer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 9, 2008 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Way Church in Pinewood, ON. Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday April 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Way Church in Pinewood, ON with Father Dan Debano officiating.
