Donald Stanley Warnuk, 65

Donald Stanley Warnuk age 65 years a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully with friends by his side on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospice Unit.
Don had a diversified career working as a commercial pilot, machinist, highschool teacher with Lakehead Public Schools and at Lakehead Diesel and Hydraulics. He loved to travel in the winter months to Mexico, Florida and other hot destinations.
He is surived by his aunt Pat Berg, uncle Doug Giles and nephew Alexander Stalker in Rainy River. Numerous other cousins also survive in Rainy River, Manitoba and British Columbia. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Enid (nee Giles) Warnuk, and sister Marie Antoinette Dyck.
A celebration of Don’s life was held on Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Donny’s Den, 1010 Dawson Road (Landmark Inn). A funeral service will be held in Rainy River on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 am in Knox United Church. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
