Forest Women's Institute to donate to Pumpkin Festival

The Forest Women's Institute met on September 9th at the home of Dorothy Wiersema. There were six members present Dorothy Wiersema called the meeting to order and Rose Hanson read the Mary Stewart Collect.
Carol Clifford read the minutes of the last meeting and gave the financial report. Both these reports were approved by the members.
There were no new bills or correspondence. In a motion made by Laurel Desrosier and seconded by Vivian Hartnell, we decided to give a donation to the Pumpkin Festival. We decided to have a pie sale at the Pumpkin Festival.

We also decided to have a pancake breakfast at the Pumpkin Festival. Plans for these functions were made. Laurel Desrosier won the door prize. Carol Clifford won the draw. In a motion by Dorothy Wiersema and seconded by Carol Clifford the meeting was adjourned. Rose Hanson read a life lesson article entitled "The Clothes Line." Dorothy served a delicious lunch.
