Fifteen ladies stepped back in time on September 30th to attend Sphon School #2. We were greeted at the door by School Mistress Eleanor Wiersema. We began of day by singing God Save the Queen led by Carolyn Kreger. The first lesson was "Scrambled Proverbs" and Bev Langner won the first prize of the day. Then Beth Brown led us in Grace. After lunch there were lots of laughs as we played "Pass the Orange" and "How Well Do You Communicate?" The final game was "Are you smarter than a Fourth Grader?" The contestants were Dawn Jarvis, who won 5 cookies and Jan Lee who won 4. Alas neither team was smarter than a fourth grader but the cookies were sure good! Our day concluded with a butterfly craft and some wonderful date cake and raisin cookies. Jan Lee was the lucky winner of the door prize. Thank you to our hostesses, Lady Carolina Rose (Carolyn Kreger). Lady Glitter (Brigitta McGreevy) and Lady Eleanore (Eleanor Wiersema).
