Come to the haunted house if you dare!

The Owls are at it again! The sports teams are still doing very well on the courts.
The Owls went to Red Lake and Kenora on Monday Oct, 20th and Tuesday Oct, 21st. The Jr. Girls basketball team is now 9-1, losing there first game against Red Lake but beating T.A. by one point.
The Sr. Girls Basketball team is sitting at 7-3, losing to Red lake and Kenora.
Our Jr. Boys volleyball team is at 4-8, playing well on Monday and Tuesday.
Our Sr. Boys, volleyball team played really well against the other teams, and is sitting with a 3-7 record.

Our student council at Rainy River High School is very busy with planning for several events.
The Halloween Dance, took place in the High school gym last Friday was a huge success.
They are planning for the Haunted House to be held in the gym of the High school. There is no admission fee, but the council will be putting out a donation box, for anyone who would like to give back the student council. Come if you dare!
They are also beginning to plan for the Drug Awareness Week, with activities planned throughout the week regarding anti-drug and alcohol, coming up in November.
The Drama Club still meets every Monday night after school, to prepare for their production in May. The Club plays numerous games to aid the new comers in how to act and how to project on stage. The drama club is still looking for male actors, backstage help, hair and make-up as well as lead roles, accept this as your invitation to show off your talents. The auditions will be held in November, they plan to start rehearsing in January.
