August 15th is the deadline for flood claims

The Northwestern Ontario Disaster Relief Committee announced that Thursday, August 15 is the deadline for submitting the official claim form for damages caused by the June flooding.
Those who received an advance payment are required to submit an official claim form, even if they are not making a further claim.
“Claims processing has already begun,” said Nick Wihnan, chair of the committee. “I urge everyone who has not already submitted their claim, to do so before the deadline.”
Claimants without all of the necessary documentation, including receipts or estimates, are asked to file their claim by the deadline with the information available. The committee has appointed Cunningham Lindsey Canada Ltd. as adjustors for processing the claims. This work is underway.
