Riverview grads told to have a good attitude

Riverview Elementary School in Rainy River held its third annual grade 8 graduation last Tuesday evening.
Master of Ceremonies Greg Wilson said that he is intensely proud of the twenty students graduating. "They are all grown up and ready to leave our small school to go to the big world of high school."
Wilson told them that everything they learned for life they learned in kindergarten. They learned to share, play fair, not to hit, clean up their mess, sing, nap, watch for traffic and most importantly, "Hold hands, stick together and LOOK."
Retiring principal Terry Ogden told the graduates, "Success is 90% attitude and 10% skill." That he said is something that he has truly believed in his 32 years of education. After diplomas were presented some fun was had as Wilson roasted each of the outgoing grads.
