RR hospital gets new phone number

This Wednesday at 5 p.m. a phone number that has been part of the fabric in Rainy River will be disconnected.
The Rainy River Hospital number, 852-3232, will be turned off and a new automated system using the Fort Frances number 274-3266 will replace it.
Riverside Health Care Facilities spokesperson Teresa Hazel said the move is being done for "efficiency reasons."
From 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday the public may experience a busy signal when calling the old number. If it is busy please try again and follow the automated instructions.
The public is asked not to make any non-urgent calls during this time frame.
To reach the RR hospital people will have to dial the new number starting on Thursday and follow the automated instructions.
Hazel said that no jobs will be lost at RR Hospital as a result of this "improvement."
