Adjourned for the summer

Legion Ladies monthly meeting was held on June 10, 2009 with a pot luck supper. The next meeting will be on September 9, 2009.
An anniversary supper will be held for Lorraine and Doug Giles on August 22, 2009 who will be celebrating their 60th. Congratulations goes out to them from all our members.
A donation was received from Dr. Singleton to be shared with the branch. Thank you for your generosity. It was very much appreciated.
On July 11, 2009 on Railroad Daze, a luncheon will be served to the Legion colour parties participating in the parade.
A motion was made by Kitty Berube and seconded by Verna Barsy to pay the accounts incurred during the summer.
The meeting was adjourned and the winner of the attendance draw was Geraldine Blight.
Have a great summer and we will see you all again in September when our meetings resume again.
