Bob King, 59

Bob passed away on July 8th, 2009 at the Meno-ya-win hospital with his wife and family by his side. Bob was 59, born September 4th, 1949 and was raised at the family farm in Pinewood, Ontario. Bob was the youngest son of the late John and Phoebe King. He was united in marrage to Iris on December 7th, 1986. The couple operated Bob's taxi for 15 years then after selling, he continued with his construction and snowplowing business.
He leaves to mourn his wife Iris, step children Ken (Ute) and grandchildren Mike and Rick of Ponoka, Alberta, Beverly (Ernie) of Chiliwack, B.C. Sisters Janet (Frank) Wolanicki of Rainy River, Ila King of Rainy River, Phylis King of Fort Frances, brother Don (Lynda) of Atikokan, brother-in-law Walter (Ethel) Misko of Roblin, Manitoba. Sister-in-law Olga Bomak of Dauphin, Manitoba. Numerous nieces and nephews and very dear friends and especially all his work buddies.
A service of comfort for family and friends was held on Monday, July 13th, 2009 at the United Church in Sioux Lookout, officiated by Rev. Aileen Urquhart. Final resting place will be in Rainy River, Ontario at a later date.
