Students spooked at RRHS!

By: Valkyrie Clark

Halloween is all about dressing up and having fun. Well, RRHS was the embodiment of halloween last Thursday.
Almost every teacher was dressed up in some kind of costume, and about a third of the students disguised themselves for the festive day. Scarry and cute alike, everyone had fun. Even those people who decided to dress as themselves had fun seeing all the other costumes.
Some of the high school students believe that they are too old to still go out trick or treating after school. But you still see many of them out there on the streets sticking to tradition. And those students who refused to go out because they were too “mature” often find themselves begging their friends for some of their treats.
At lunch, in the school gymnasium, prizes were awarded to those people with the best costumes. The prize for the scarriest costume went to Laurie Brown as a very scarry looking troll. The most creative was Heather Mailloux, she haunted the school as a dead bride with very bad teeth. Matt Bartlet and Jenny Stafford won best couple by being a cowboy and his saloon girl. The funniest looking costume belonged to Brooke Ewald for being dressed as a man. And teacher Joel Banbury won “best looking legs” with his Flintstone attire.
