Area residents asked to adopt-a-river

The Rainy River First Nations Watershed Program would like to invite interested parties to participate in the 2001 Adopt-A-River Program.
Groups such as lcoal business, government, and community organizations interested in helping to clean-up our watershed will assist in removing human-genrated waste from their adopted section. This progam is a great way to beocme part of your community activities and contribute to the good health of our watershed.
All clean-up activites will be celebrated with a barbeque, provided by the Watershed Program, for volunteers.
Participating groups adopt an area along the Rainy River or one of its tributaries and choose the date they would like to participate.
