Town council awards over $200,000 in tenders

Rainy River Town Council held a special Council meeting Friday to award several tenders.
The first motion passed and awarded ENL to do the engineering for the Atwood Avenue Sewer and water replacement from the OPP station to First St. The amount of the winning bid was $92,399.50 plus taxes.
Allan Olson Heating received the next tender to install central air conditioning in the town office and seniors depot at a cost of $8,760 plus taxes.
Ryan Mason Contracting won the bid to install new windows in the town office and srs. depot at a cost of $39,295 plus taxes.
The final tender awarded at the meeting was to Thermalitecs/Filmore Mechanical to install geothermal heating in the town garage at a cost of $88,000.
