The family remembers a loving wife, mother and grandmother....

GLADYS LAURA CHAMBERS of Westbank, BC (formerly Penticton), born on December 23, 1928 in Emo, Ontario died peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on August 13, 2009 in Kelowna. Gladys was predeceased by her daughter Candice and survived by husband, Bruce Chambers, daughters Laura Chambers, Anne Bilow, son, Kevin Chambers (Mel White) and daughter Norma Jean Maxwell (Robert Maxwell). She is also survived by grandchildren Alyssa Chambers, Sherene Betson, Samantha, Courtney and Bradley White, Kannon and Ryder Maxwell and great grandchildren Darian Chambers-Smith, Kyra Chambers-Smith, Dixie Betson and Jayten White and a large extended family.
As were her wishes, an intimate family celebration of her life was held on August 16th. We ask that you remember her with a smile and a laugh.
