Hosp. Aux. hosts executive conference in RR

After almost a three month break, we had our regular meeting on September 8th with 16 members present. President Myrna Armstrong welcomed us all, hoped we had a good summer, and then promptly set into the meeting.
We opened with the Auxiliary prayer, followed by the minutes, of the last meeting.
The only item arising from the minutes was the executive conference we will host. This was to be held on September 12, and we provide the muffins for coffee breaks in the morning and after the meeting was over. Lunch will be provided by the hospital kitchen staff. We would do the serving.
New Business is the Walleye Tournament. We again will have Bingo from 11 to 3, and the Hook, Line, & Sinker board. Bingo is on Friday only, the Hook, Line & Sinker is both Friday & Saturday. Helpers were set up for both.
The ultra sound project was brought up, and it was reported it is well on its way to attaining our goal. However, more is needed, and if you wish to pledge or donate, contact Larry Armstrong or stop at the Rainy River Health Centre.
The financial report was given, and special committees gave their reports. This concluded our meeting, and we adjourned. Our next meeting is October 5th at the hospital, at 1:30.
