Timothy Boonstra, 62

Timothy Boonstra, June 5th, 1947 – September 26th, 2009
With his family by his side, Timothy Boonstra passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 in his 62nd year after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Tim was predeceased by his parents Hendrik and Antje, son Roger, sisters, Pietje (Pat), Janneke (Jane), and Margje. Tim leaves behind to mourn his wife of 38 years Laura, son Walter (Jaime Dawn; grand-sons Jeffrey and Matthew) Boonstra, daughter Kim (Curt; grand-daughter Jessi, grand-son James) Germaine, and daughter Cheryl (Scott; grand-son Dylan) Wong, brothers Gerrit, Bill, and John, sisters, Eilkje, Trudy, and Anneke, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be a grave-side ceremony held at the Garson Cemetery on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 to be followed with a luncheon at the Garson Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested that donations be made to the Cancer Care Manitoba, Beausejour Hospital T.V. Fund and/or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
