Brig McGreevy to sit on Riverside Foundation Board

At its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, July 10th, Riverside Foundation for Health Care welcomed John McTaggart and Rod McLeod to the Board. John McTaggart is a local businessman and also served as Chair of the Care Close to Home campaign. Rod McLeod is a local lawyer and supporter of the Foundation. “We are very pleased that both John and Rod have joined the Board”, noted Teresa Hazel, Foundation Director. “They both bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise and will be great additions to our Board of Directors.”
Larry Cousineau and Audrey Anderson both agreed to serve a second term with the Board of Directors and they were re-appointed to 3 year terms.
Recognition of members leaving the Board was extended to Clare Brunetta and Jim Krag who were instrumental in the establishment of the Foundation and the success of the recent Care Close to Home campaign. “They have been great ambassadors for the Foundation and its mission, and we will miss their involvement on the Board”, noted Hazel.
Jim Krag will continue to assist the Foundation as a volunteer and Clare will continue to serve as a member of the recently established Planned Giving Committee.
Tammy Kellar was appointed to the position of Chair of the Board. Tammy is a Retirement and Investment Planner with the Royal Bank in Fort Frances and also served as the Vice-Chair of the Foundation Board last year. Wendy Judson of Emo has been appointed Vice-Chair.
Brigitta McGreevy replaces Craig Sanders as the representative from Riverside Health Care’s Board of Directors. Brigitta is from Rainy River and was also a volunteer for the Care Close to Home Campaign. Appreciation was extended to Craig Sanders for his involvement and support of the Foundation.
Other Board members include, Joan Allison, Steve Chown, Teresa Hazel, Irene Meades and Wayne Woods.
