Women of the Moose donate to three area libraries

The Publicity Chapter Night meeting was opened on Thursday, July 12th by Senior Regent Nan Bonderson.
Installation was held with Installing Regent being Joanne Fieldseth and Installing Guide Loraine Stigen. Installed this evening were Musician Elizabeth Penney; Moosehaven Chairman Thais Parks; Health Awareness Chairman Bernice Merschman, Argus, Theresa Sharp, Community Service Chairman Belinda Bjork and PEP Chairman Juanita Ellis.
Publicity Chairman Jean Bretzki introduced her committee members present. The Committee presented a cheque for $20.00 for the Women of the Moose Scholarship and Maintenance Fund and $20.00 for each for the libraries in Baudette, Williams & Rainy River.
They also presented a cheque for $20.00 for the play centre for the little children at Mooseheart. With this donation they will also help purchase an 8 pc play kitchen set & accessories and help replace the Christmas decorations.
Door prize winners were Betty Barnhill and Loraine Stigen. The next Business meeting will be held on July 26th.
