Hosp. Aux. getting ready for Christmas Bazaar

Seventeen members were present for our regular October meeting. We were pleased to have so many out, but missed some of our regulars who couldn't make it.
After reading and approving the minutes of the last meeting, Myrna Armstrong read the minutes of the auxiliary executive convention held at the hospital on September 12.
In reference to our own meeting minutes, Myrna gave a report on the Walleye Tournament Bingo, and the Hook, Line & Sinker we sponsored. Both were successful and we will do it again next year. Also, the emergency ultra sound for the hospital has been ordered, and we are well on the way to meeting our goal in funds.
New business included the Christmas Bazaar to be held December 6th at the Community Centre. There will be a main draw, indoor draws, penny table and more, to be decided at the next meeting. We will cater to Halloween parties at both the hospital for the long term members, and at the station. Members of the auxiliary and families are welcome.
Bridgett McGreevy has resigned as treasurer, and we are very sorry to lose her as treasurer, however are happy she will stay on as a member. Our new treasurer will be Dawn Jarvis. Thank you Bridgett and welcome Dawn.
Our meeting adjourned, the next one will be Nov 2, at the hospital at 1:30
