Veteran's Tea to be held Nov. 8th

The local branch of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 14th, with 1st Vice president Ev Bourre presiding.
Minutes of the September meeting were read and approved. Treasurer, Donna Ivall gave her report on the auxiliary's finances. A donation is being sent to the Lung Association, and the Arthritis Society. A wreath will be purchased for the November 11th Remembrance service, and will be layed by Eveyln Bourre.
The annual Veteran's Tea will be held on Sunday, November 8th at the Legion Hall. There will be tables for rent for various vendors to sell their baking, crafts, etc. Also a penny table and a draw.
Each Auxiliary member is asked to donate an item for the penny table valued at $10.00 or more. Items may be dropped off at the Legion anytime before November 5th.
Anyone wishing to rent a table for the tea is asked to phone Donna Ivall at 852-3620 or Gladys Yeo at 852-3294.
