Christmas bazaar just around the corner

Our regular November meeting had fifteen members present. We opened with the auxiliary prayer. In the absence of our president, Carolee Hogue chaired the meeting. Minutes of the last meeting were read, the committees gave their reports and a financial statement was given.
We received a card from Brenley Anderson saying “Thank You” for the Bursary she was given.
The hospital Bazaar was the main item of discussion: It is being held Dec. 6 at the Community Centre from 1 - 4 p.m. Do your tickets for penny table and browsing from 1- 45, then coffee and pie will be served till 2:30 and entertainment by the local choir to follow.
There will be cabbage rolls and perogies available and other indoor draws. Also a table for the membership dues. New members are welcome to join. We need you!
We will be setting up Saturday evening Dec. 5 at 7:30. Items for the Penny table are needed and can be left either at the Hospital Tuck Shop or with Myrna Armstrong. They have to be in by Dec. 2 and we need the cost and item to fill out forms required. If unable to have them in by then phone Myrna with the above information at 852-3243.
Our next meeting is a luncheon at the CN Hotel at 12 o’clock on Dec. 7th. The cost is $10.00 and leave your money for this at the Bakery by December 2.
