Vet tea a huge success

The local branch of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on November 12th, with President Valerie Nelson presiding. Minutes of the Oct meeting were read and approved. Accounts were presented and authorized for payment.
Donna Ivall read the account of the Auxiliary's finances. A donation to the Lung Association, and the Arthritis Association was given after the October meeting.
The Biennial Convention report was received. The question and answer section was read to the members.
It was noted that the Veteran's Tea was a big success. A large crowd attended. JoAnne Giles thanked the ladies for all their help in organizing this event. Beatty Nault thanked Evelyn Bourre for doing so well on the meat draws while she was disabled.
The next meeting will be on December 9th at 5:30, followed by the Christmas party of dinner and an exchange of gifts.
