Christmas bazaar a financial success!

Our December meeting was a luncheon at the C.N. Hotel, with 21 members present. Myrna said grace and we all enjoyed a wonderful bowl of soup and bunwiches as well as an absolutely delicious dessert. Thank you Patti and Valerie.
A short regular meeting followed; all reading the auxiliary prayer together, the minutes of the last meeting were read and a financial statement given.
Treasurer Dawn Jarvis reported our Bazaar was a financial success. For this we are grateful to the community for coming out to support us, by making pies, giving penny table items or donating in other ways or just by showing up and enjoying the tea or coffee and pie the servers looked after. A special “Thanks You” to our own members Betty, Myrna and Jessie for making all the perogies and cabbage rolls and to the choir for the wonderful entertainment they provided.
We will be doing a Christmas Party for the long term patients on Dec. 14. There will be entertainment, dessert and a small gift for each patient.
We concluded our meeting with a couple of games and prizes were handed to the winners.
Myrna wished us all a Merry Christmas, and the meeting adjourned. The next meeting is January 4th at the hospital.
