Emo Fair preparations nearing completion

With the fair about a month away a board meeting was held last week.
Angela reported on the Mid-District Exhibition Facility and they are going to have a draw to raise money, tickets will be out shortly.
It looks like the main gate is going to be in the same place as last year meaning that the gate closest to the grandstand (the old main gate) will be closed.
Also some mini king and queen contestants are needed. If you wish to enter your child call 487-9955.
The afternoon entertainment will feature local singing talent showcase on Friday and Saturday afternoon. If you wish to enter please call 483-1252 (Candy).
It looks like there will be 8 contestants vying for Fair Queen this year from all over the district.
The parade will be back at its regular time slot starting at noon on Saturday. As for parking once again there will only be parking on one side of Colonization Road (the road that goes by the grandstand) because of people walking to and from the fairgrounds. It makes is safer for all.
There will be a quarterhorse shoe the weekend before the fair.
