Senior Friendship Group News

Twenty five members met at the depot on March 19/03 for fun and fellowship.
Glen Hart and his sister Ramona were with us and played some good toe tapping music for the afternoon.
Does anyone remember the Smith Band who played for dances at Black Hawk? Ramona played with her mother and dad and still plays a great accordion. Glen, her brother plays the banjo and guitar and has a great singing voice as well. Glen’s wife and neighbour really did their part in getting our seniors up dancing, everyone had a super time. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us, and they will be back in a month or so for another great time.
A card was signed and sent to our great gal Myrna A. who will hit the 60 on the 22nd. Myrna drives for our group as well as helps at auxiliary catering which we enjoy. She was busy as “usual” today so we will catch her later with birthday goodies, congratulations Myrna!!
As usual a delicious lunch was served and everyone got to visit with each other.
Thanks Jeannette for driving and Darlene, of course had made pistachio dessert which was ummm, sooo good!
Next week Willie and Rodi Longenecker will be with us so anyone who wants to come and join us for the afternoon we would love to have you.
Until then take care.
Luv U. Ev Moen.
