Danny Gavel has best racing weekend of the season

Gavel sno-cross racing team was racing north of Winnipeg over the weekend at the Spring Hill Ski Area.
Saturday the weather was cold, windy and the track was solid ice. In the name of safety, they cancelled racing.
Sunday morning dawned clear with no wind, they had to do a lot of grooming to the track to make it race ready.
It was a busy day as we had to run heats and LCQ’s in the morning and finals in the afternoon.
Danny Gavel had his best weekend yet! He finished 1st in the Sport 440, Sport Fan and Sport Open, and 3rd in the Sport 600 classes.
John Gavel finished 4th in the Masters and 30+ Open and 5th in the 30+. He got tangled up in the corners a few times and that hindered him.
Robbie Gavel, still hurting from a spectacular end-over-end rollover in hot laps Sunday morning, placed 2nd in the Sport Fan, 4th in the Sport Open, 6th in the Sport 440 and 8th in the Sport 600.
